Reining in Behaviour Workshop
P.D. workshop designed for teachers wanting to build confidence in developing and maintaining positive relationships whilst controlling behaviours in the classroom.
Why?
We all want harmonious classrooms where children feel safe, are respected, and engaged in learning without disruption. For too many teachers, this is a reality that seems impossible. Their students are causing havoc, disrupting the learning of others, disrespecting them, and at times physically harming them. This results in high levels of teacher anxiety, unhappy relationships, and very little student learning.
Sadly, teachers are leaving this profession in droves. We have a duty to support, empower and pass on proven strategies that work so that teachers can get on with the job they signed up to do – Teach children and literally shape our countries future.

About Me
Michele Adamson is an experienced senior teacher with over 20 years of experience in her field. She worked as a behaviour support teacher for 3 years alongside 2 psychologists working with schools to support classroom teachers that weren’t coping with extreme behaviours. Michele’s desire to help teachers survive in one of the most demanding, important professions is what drove her to publish her first book adamsense – 10 steps to thrive in teaching and to also develop the C.R.A.C.R. model. This evidence based behaviour model is a simple approach aimed to assist any teacher that feels they need assistance in regaining control of their classrooms. The workshop is supportive, interactive and practical. Teachers will identify their behaviour management weaknesses and set goals to overcome these obstacles.
